Quicklinks:  Sunday Service - Announcements - Easter & Good Friday Services

Children are an essential part of the FCF family, and we are dedicated to caring for them and equipping them as disciples and future church leaders. We have worship opportunities for children of every age, and welcome volunteers who love children and want to be part of training them up in their understanding of God and His Word.

Nursery

Children up to age 4 are invited to enjoy free play time, a snack, and a Bible story.

Before dropping your child/ren off at the nursery, please register them at the computer kiosk next to the Connections Desk located in the lobby. Our check-in system gives them a name sticker and you an ID tag for when you pick them up after the service. If you have questions about how to do this, please ask the Ushers.

Parents may drop their children off five minutes prior to the start of the service and should be picked up immediately after the service concludes. The nursery is located down the hall by the hospitality counter, on your left. Walk to the end and to your left is the entrance into the nursery.

We seek volunteers to serve in the nursery one service per month. Members and regular attenders who volunteer should have a love for children and a willingness to engage with the youngest of our church family.  Volunteers will need to attend scheduled training sessions and complete a background check.

Friends of Jesus

Children ages 4-7 are invited up front for prayer during the worship service, after which they go downstairs to participate in Friends of Jesus. This is a time of biblical teaching and worship for children to help them grow in their knowledge of and love for God. Friends of Jesus includes prayer, music, a Bible story, and a lesson. Parents should pick up their children from L102 (through the double-doors on the opposite wall after you go downstairs) immediately after the service. Children are also welcome to remain with their family through the entire service.

We seek gifted teachers and assistants to volunteer monthly on a three-month rotation. Volunteers should have a love and passion for children, and a desire to teach them the Word of God. Teachers must be members of FCF, while assistants may be regular attenders. Volunteers will need to attend scheduled training sessions and complete a background check.

Sunday School

Children between age 3 and the 5th grade are invited to participate in Sunday School, offered between the services from 10:10-10:50 a.m., September through May (class locations are listed in the bulletin each week). The purpose of Sunday School is to teach the children, both by lesson and by example, the truths about God found in the Holy Bible. Each of the classes utilizes PCA curriculum.

We seek gifted teachers and assistants to volunteer weekly with our classes. Volunteers should have a love and passion for children, and a desire to teach them the Word of God. Teachers must be members of FCF, while assistants may be regular attenders. Volunteers will need to attend scheduled training sessions and complete a background check.

Resources for Children in Gathered Worship

Children remaining for the sermon are encouraged to take the Faith Kids Outline of the sermon on the two tables just inside the church's front doors. There are also resource books and Bibles that are located in the back of the church for the children to borrow during the service. We hope this helps you and your family to grow in Christ.
