People: 7 you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;

CONFESSION OF SIN AND ASSURANCE OF PARDON—Elder, Michael Rading

Corporate Confession of Sins—
All:
Most merciful God, we confess our sins that we have committed against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. Forgive us for the ways we have not loved you with our whole heart; for the ways we have not loved our neighbors as our-selves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent, for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways to the glory of your Name. Amen.
Moment of silence for personal confessions.

Assurance of Pardon—
Leader:
God pardons those who humbly repent and truly believe the gospel. Since Jesus died for us, we have peace with God, to whom be praise and honor forever.
