WELCOME/ANNOUNCEMENTS: Pastor JB Watkins

RESPONSIVE CALL TO WORSHIP – from Psalm 150: 1,2,6 (ESV)
Leader:
1 “Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
People: 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
All: 6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!”

SONG OF PRAISE:

Blessed Assurance

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels, descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Your Great Name

Lost are saved, find their way, at the sound of Your great name
All condemned, feel no shame, at the sound of Your great name
Every fear, has no place, at the sound of Your great name
The enemy, he has to leave, at the sound of Your great name

Chorus:
Jesus, worthy is the lamb that was slain for us, son of God and man
You are high and lifted up, that all the world will praise Your great name

All the weak, find their strength, at the sound of Your great name
Hungry souls, receive grace, at the sound of Your great name
The fatherless, they find their rest, at the sound of Your great name
Sick are healed, and the dead are raised, at the sound of Your great name

Redeemer, my healer, almighty
My savior, defender, You are my king

CONFESSION OF SIN & ASSURANCE OF PARDON: Pastor JB Watkins

Corporate Confession of Sins—
All:
Almighty God, in raising Jesus from the grave, you destroyed the power of sin and death. We confess that at times we remain captive to doubt and fear, bound by our own selfishness and sin. We waste your gifts, wander from your ways, and forget your love. We overlook our neighbor, and are constantly focused on ourselves. Forgive us, God of mercy. Help us to trust your power to change our lives and make us new, that we may know the joy of the fullness of life given in Jesus Christ, the risen Lord. Amen.

Moment of Silence for Personal Confessions

Assurance of Pardon—
Leader:
Church: Hear the Good News! 9 If we confess our sins, he is faith-ful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In Christ Jesus we are Forgiven!
People: Praise the Lord!

TIME OF PRAYER/PRAISE: Pastor JB Watkins

SCRIPTURE READING: Psalm 118 —Sarah Saeli, Youth Ministry Student

SONG OF PREPARATION:

The Anthem

Chorus:
Hallelujah, you have won the victory
Hallelujah, you have won it all for me
Death could not hold you down
You are the risen king
Seated in majesty
You are the risen king

By his stripes we are healed
By his nail pierced hands, we're free
By his blood we're washed clean
And now we have the victory

And The power of sin is broken
Jesus overcame it all
He has won our freedom
Jesus has won it all

Our God is risen, He is alive
He won the victory, He reigns on high
