Youth Ministry Overview
"D-Group" (Discipleship Group) is a ministry for middle and high schoolers who would like a safe place to make friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus. We meet at Faith Christian Fellowship on the corner of Greenmount and 42nd St. The Youth ministry is led by a dedicated Youth Director staff position and church member volunteers.
Our weekly youth group. High schoolers meet Sundays, 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m., and middle schoolers meet Mondays, 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m., in the Youth Room. Each night includes teaching, small groups, and time to build friendships.
The first Sunday of each month, middle and high school meet together for a combined night of worship and student testimony.
D-Group Weekly Meeting Evening Timeline:
6:30-7pm - free time
7-7:40pm - lesson
7:40-8pm - breakout / notebook activity
8-8:30pm - group game
Any student in D-Group can opt in to be paired with an adult mentor from FCF for a monthly one-on-one meal or coffee. It is a consistent, unhurried relationship with someone who shows up for them.
Every mentor completes a background check and FCF's mentor training before being matched. The monthly meal is free for the student.

A monthly gathering that helps high schoolers build a real plan for after graduation, whatever the path: four-year college, community college, a trade, or the military. We work through college applications, the Common App, FAFSA, resumes, and interview practice, and take trips to visit schools and meet working adults.
We meet the third Sunday of each month, 5 p.m.–6:30 p.m., in the basement, right before high school D-Group. Dinner is included every time. Parents and siblings are welcome to come and are encouraged to bring a laptop and take part.
