We believe that each believer and church is called to demonstrate unity, whether through biblically rooted denominations, church associations or networks, or a combination of all. One important way we pursue Christian unity (Psalm 133:1) is through our membership in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), which also provides a means to protect the witness and promote the peace of the church (Acts 15:2). Our denominations offers pathways for encouragement, means for calling and equipping church leaders (1 Timothy 4:14), and a partnership to strategically forward the mission of church planting and other Kingdom works (Acts 13:1-2).
FCF belongs to the Chesapeake Presbytery, which is made up of PCA churches in the north central region of Maryland.
We are also connected with other ministry and church networks, providing multiple ways to show forth the person and mission of Christ in the world.
