At Faith Christian Fellowship, we seek to follow Jesus by acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God (Micah 6:8) as we love our neighbors and bear witness to the gospel, both locally and globally (Acts 1:8).
Our Mercy Ministries exist to extend tangible care and temporary relief to individuals and families within our church and local community who are facing periods of crisis or transition.
Meal Makers & Transportation: We provide hot meals to families in immediate crisis and arrange rides for members to vital medical appointments.
Seasonal Outreach & Relief: We host an annual Advent Bazaar to raise money for the Deacons’ Fund through the sale of homemade gifts and baked goods. We also assemble Thanksgiving baskets with grocery gift cards to help our neighbors enjoy a holiday meal with their families.
Our Local Outreach focuses on building deep relationships and engaging in holistic community development—to serve our neighbors and bear witness to God's love in the Pen Lucy neighborhood and throughout Baltimore.
Pen Lucy Action Network (PLAN): We host and partner with the PLAN Learning Center, which pairs neighborhood children in 1st–8th grade with adult mentors for weekly one-on-one reading and math tutoring. (Pen Lucy Action Network (PLAN))
University Connections: We welcome students from Baltimore's rich network of universities into the intergenerational life of the church body and support them as they navigate their faith, academic life, and personal growth.
Local Partnerships: We support a network of local ministries through finances and prayer, including Baltimore Antioch Leadership Movement (BALM), Reformed University Fellowship-International (RUF-I), The Salaam Center, The Christian Community Center, and Micah Forum Baltimore.
We support about twenty missionaries and organizations serving in the United States or overseas through financial support, intentional relationships, and dedicated prayer. Our Missions team nurtures facilitates these partnerships.
Missions Spotlights: We regularly host congregational lunches featuring presentations from our partner missionaries on their work with the Lord and their particular needs for support.
Missions Month: We dedicate the month of March to highlight our global missionaries, learn more about their work, and offer specific prayer for them in our worship services and our Sunday School classes.
