Grow with the Children's Ministry
Children are a much-loved part of the FCF family, and we are dedicated to caring for them and equipping them as disciples and future church leaders. We have worship opportunities for children of all ages, and we welcome volunteers who love children and want to be part of training them up in their understanding of God and His Word.
Children's Ministry Overview
Nursery
Children up to age 4 are invited to the nursery to enjoy free-play time and a Bible story during the Sunday morning worship service. Parents may drop off their children prior to the start of the service or anytime during the service. We encourage families to worship together, so parents often bring their children just before the sermon. If your child is attending nursery, please register at the lobby check-in before the service begins.
Friends of Jesus
For children ages 4 to 7, Friends of Jesus is a weekly time of Bible teaching, prayer, and music to help them grow in knowledge and love for God. Prior to the sermon during Sunday morning worship, children are invited to the front of Sanctuary for a brief prayer. Children's ministry leaders then guide them downstairs to the Friends of Jesus room. If your child is attending Friends of Jesus, please register at the lobby check-in before the service begins.
Sunday School
Children from age 3 to 5th grade are invited to participate in Sunday School, offered from 9–9:45 a.m., September through May. Children's ministry leaders and volunteers teach, by lesson and by example, the truths about God found in the Bible. Each class follows denominational curriculum.
Children in Worship
We encourage children to participate in the worship service with the body of Christ. Children who stay for the sermon are encouraged to pick up a Kids Outline near the entrance of the sanctuary. There are also children's books, Bibles, and music shakers they may borrow for the service.

Our children's ministry leaders and volunteers love children and are passionate about caring for them and teaching them the Word of God. All children's workers are background-checked and trained to follow the church's safeguarding policies and procedures. FCF takes the safety of our children and members seriously.
